Food and wine! FOOD and WINE! Screams at you from every article, poster, and who knows what else, even the tourism department head's LinkedIn page. Armenia is not a restaurant, people!
Of course, the "marketing geniuses" in the government think shoving Armenia down tourists' throats as an all-you-can-eat buffet is a good thing. They pat themselves on the back for a 'successful' campaign because some yahoo on TripAdvisor liked the gata. Big deal.
So, what's the damn problem here? Are we just stuck playing waiters in this giant, never-ending tourist trap? Hell no! I refuse to accept that, and I know a lot of you do too. That's why I'm calling us all out. Let's get loud about the real Armenia, the one overflowing with life, history, and creativity! Let the world know there's more to this place than just a menu!
We're talking about young artists who are turning city walls into explosions of color and rebellion. We're talking about musicians who are laying down beats that will crack your soul wide open. We're talking about tech wizards who are building the future, right here, right now - Picsart, Krisp, 10Web, Renderforest, Sololearn, etc.
Forget those lame and same-old tours with monotone tour guides! We're talking about hikes through mountains older than time, where the only souvenir you get is a lungful of fresh air and a memory that will sear itself into your brain forever. That's the Armenia I know, the Armenia the world deserves to see!.
Now, here's the real kicker: Armenians themselves! Most people in Armenia are welcoming and friendly. When you get good, friendly vibes, definitely talk to the locals. It's amusing to listen to their stories and experiences. You might also get some useful information at times. Some people even go out of their way to help you, and those memories stay with you forever.
